How I do it: By identifying and tackling the big projects with creativity and collaboration, and creating and sustaining organizational growth.
I have 20 years of experience as a nonprofit leader and manager, business owner, journalist, blogger, and heart health advocate and speaker. I have demonstrated success in every aspect of nonprofit leadership and management, marketing, communications, and public relations. I build and lead teams that succeed.
I am currently the Chief Operating Officer at Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys, one of the largest Girl Scouts councils in the nation. Through the efforts of 11,000 adult volunteers, Girl Scouts River Valleys serves more than 35,000 girls. We are committed to developing girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
Today’s girls are tomorrow’s leaders, and I’m thrilled to be a part of this incredible mission.
